Mere weeks after the commencement of the Fall 2019 runway looks at New York Fashion Week, fashionista’s and fashionisto’s alike have begun to curate chic ensembles inspired by trends that emerged from America’s largest fashion event.

Waist Cinchers

2000’s girls’ rejoice! Your favorite form-fitting accessory has made a full-fledged comeback. From Christian Siriano’s electrifying eggplant gowns to Kate Spade’s luxury silky floor-length dresses, visions of sugar plums were literally everywhere. While some designers chose to incorporate pops the plush color, most found head to toe was the way to go.

A fall fashion staple, leather has long been the unsung signature of the arrival of autumn. Traditionally a classic black moto jacket has been enough to achieve the leather look, but this fall full head-to-toe leather ensembles are all the rage. With designers like Zimmerman releasing floor length burgundy leather dresses to Sies Marjan’s bold blue leather suit, it seems the more leather the merrier.

Animal Print

As animal-friendly fashion brands move away from real fur and towards faux fur, their love of animal prints will seemingly never die. Marc Jacobs introduced us to an elegant leopard print cape. The Kate Spade Collection introduced a line of candy colored animal print dusters. From zebra to python prints, animal print was everywhere.
